Make your opinion known.
This is a problem that will take time to solve, since Garden City has dug in their heels and refused to even consider the possibility that we have a valid and reasonable request. It will take a lot of public pressure to convince them otherwise.
Although, the Idaho State Attorney General's office has refused to enforce the State mandate that the greenbelt in
Talk this over with your friends, your civic groups, your neighborhood associations, your bicycle clubs. Tell the businesses in Garden City how you fell about shopping in a city where your public rights to public land are not supported. Send a letter to the Statesman! Keep the spotlight on this issue and the shady way it has been handled.
