We continue to believe that this path should be open to bicycles as it was originally intended.  We now believe our only recourse is to seek legal action.  Three experienced and qualified Boise attorneys devoted to our cause have come forward to help us. They have generously offered to contribute their time pro bono and believe a civil action is both sensible and winnable.

Even with our attorneys' generous donation of their time, we will need a legal fund for this effort.  This fund will cover hard expenses such as the cost of depositions, expert witnesses, filing fees, court costs, etc.

4/20/2010 Update -- WE ARE OVER THE TOP! Our legal fund campaign goal was accomplished in just 5 weeks! Thank you each and every one for your support and every donation both large and small! We will continue to accept any donations you care to make to allow for unanticipated expenses.

Next step is to visit our 3 wonderful pro bono attorneys with check in hand for the escrow fund that will cover the hard costs of proceeding...

If you wish to donate, we will continue to accept donations until this problem is resolved.  There may be unforseen expenses in the future that we have not anticipated.  I guarantee you that any contribution will be much appreciated and put to good use.

In the end, any funds that are not used for the legal action will be donated to a local non-profit greenbelt and/or bicycle organization.
